Rare Tomato Seeds started from simple curiosity and my deep love for plants. I’ve always been fascinated by how things grow — but tomatoes quickly became my obsession. Not just because they taste amazing, but because every variety has its own character. Watching them develop from a tiny seed to a strong plant and finally to colourful, flavourful fruit never gets boring — it still feels like a small miracle every season.
I collect, grow, and preserve unique tomato varieties right here in Canada. Every variety I offer is tested in real outdoor conditions — facing short summers, cool nights, wind, heavy rain, and unpredictable weather. If a tomato performs well here, it proves its strength and resilience.
Seed preservation is something I take seriously. To maintain varietal purity, I carefully isolate flowers and use proper seed-saving techniques to prevent unwanted cross-pollination. This keeps the genetics stable and true to type from generation to generation — so you know exactly what you’re growing.
And yes… I spend a lot of time in the field observing, tasting, comparing, and simply enjoying how beautiful these plants are. It’s research, but it’s also passion.
