Ancient Heart of Aqui Terme (Cuore antico di Acqui Terme)

A rare and beautiful heirloom from Acqui Terme, a town in Italy’s Piedmont region. The fruits are impressive, irregular hearts, slightly ribbed, weighing 250–500 g, with some reaching up to 1 kg under the right conditions. Absolutely no cracking, even after heavy rains! The flesh is dense and meaty, with very few seeds or gel — perfect for making rich sauces or paste. The flavor is deep, sweet, and full-bodied. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, with regular foliage. Outstanding productivity! 

Note: This variety can sometimes start a little slowly in the early stages, and seedlings may look a bit modest or unimpressive at first — don’t worry, they are just taking their time. Once established, the plant becomes a strong, vigorous grower and rewards your patience with an impressive harvest. Think of it as a tomato that prefers a slow warm-up… but then decides to turn into a jungle.
