Barnes Mountain Yellow

An indeterminate, mid-season heirloom variety from the mountains of Barnes, Kentucky. The plant is vigorous and productive, bearing deep orange beefsteak-type fruits weighing 230–350 g, slightly flattened and beautifully uniform. The fruits are meaty, "buttery", with very few seeds and a rich, sweet flavor that’s low in acidity. Ideal for sandwiches, salads, and sauces. (1 bag - 5 seeds)
